Lapangan Banteng Park

Located in Central Jakarta, this is one of the favorite open spaces to spend their weekends or just to chat enjoying the sunset. The specialty of this park is the dancing water show which can be watched every weekend evening.

Setu Babakan

This is a 289-hectare Betawi Cultural Village. There are daily traditional activities of the Betawi people including ngederes, silat Beksi (Betawi 'kungfu'), wedding parties, akekah, and cooking Betawi's traditional food. Every weekend, there is Betawi art performance at the Amphitheater.

Hutan Kota Gelora Bung Karno (GBK)

This is a multifunction outdoor green area of 14,711 m² in the heart of Jakarta. It has  a great view with arrays of sports field, restaurants, and picnic area. Citizens may relax, gather, or perform sports such as running.

National Monument (Monas)

This is a 433-feet 80-hectare building with a huge fire-shaped gold on its top that represents the spirit of Indonesia. It has reliefs of the History of Indonesia during pre-independence days. On its top, there are also telescopes to view the scenery of Jakarta from above.

Jakarta History Museum

This neoclassical style building is one of the most favorite museums in Jakarta and has become an icon for the Old Town Area. This museum was the City Hall Building in the era of the VOC (Vereenigde Oost Indische Compagnie) government. There are approximately 23,500 collections of items in the form of original or replicas.

The Thousand Island (Pulau Seribu)

The Thousand Islands are a string of 342 islands with a total length of 45km at the north of Jakarta's coast. There were 'The Island of Angel' (Pulau Bidadari) to enjoy watersport and view the floating fisherman's village, Anyer Island to enjoy viewing Papua traditional house (Honai), Tidung Island to snorkle and viewing mangrove forest, etc.

Pasar Baru

Built in 1820, this is the oldest traditional market in Central Jakarta with Chinese and European architecture. Apart from shopping, we also enjoy the splendor of the buildings that stood from the colonial era.

The First Indonesian Shopping Center

Inaugurated on August 15, 1966, this is the first shopping center in Indonesia. Besides shopping and culinary, there is a mini museum filled with photos and narratives of Sarinah's journey from time to time. There is also a Skydeck on the 3rd floor and an Amphitheatre on the G floor which is used for performances, exhibitions, and community gatherings.

Taman Impian Ancol

This is an internationally themed amusement park in which you may enjoy roller coasters, interactive rides, flumes & shows in Dunia Fantasi, a popular beach for water sports, a waterfront complex which features rollercoasters and rides in Atlantis Water Adventure Park. Families also enjoy SeaWorld aquarium with its sharks and turtles, and Ocean Dream Samudra for dolphin and sea lion shows.

TMII Bird Park

The bird collection in the Bird Park, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) is the most comprehensive in Indonesia, consisting of 2 domes and 175 species with a total of thousands of birds, both from western and eastern Indonesia. Complete facilities make Bird Park suitable as a means of choice for family education and entertainment.

Indonesian Fauna Museum Komodo & Reptile Park

This place displays the charm of endangered animals in the form of preserved and living reptiles. The architecture of the building takes the form of Komodo, a dragon-like animals that only live on Komodo Island, East Nusa Tenggara, standing on an area of 10,120 m² with a building area of 1,500 m². It is also inside Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII)

This area has several unique buildings and citywalks using the concept of Chinese culture. Besides the view, shopping and culinary is also recommended. It is located on West Jakarta.

Mangrove Angke Kapuk

This was a mangrove ecosystem that was built in 1939. You may enjoy bird sightseeing from towers, viewing the natural scenery, enjoying the ambiance from the cafe, or water recreation.

Gado Gado

This is an Indonesian 'salad' which consists of raw, slightly boiled, blanched or steamed vegetables, hard-boiled eggs, boiled potato, fried tofu, tempeh, and lontong, then it is served with a peanut sauce dressing.

Nasi Ulam

Nasi Ulam is a traditional Betawi culinary that is also influenced from Chinese culinary culture. Dodol

This is sweet toffee-like sugar palm-based confection commonly found in Southeast Asia and the Indian subcontinent. It is made from rice flour and palm sugar that is formed into dense, slightly sticky squares or diamonds, then flavored in many ways, including coconut, apple, etc. The most popular flavor in Southeast Asia is durian fruit.
